Ash
River's "Captain" Son
of Josh and Perris Grandson
of Ash and Zoe "O
Captain... My Captain"
|

Agile,
zealous, and smart... just the tip of the iceberg...
|
|

Sleeping,
sweet and snuggable...
|

...but, how
can that POSSIBLY be comfortable?
|
|

Captain turns
heads wherever we go but, he turned our hearts along time ago with his fun loving personality and zest for
life. Even when he was a baby he commanded everyone's attention with his antics and shenanigans... I think he may have
even come out of the womb chasing a ball! He leaps like a deer after a tennis ball, catapulting high into the air
and touching down lightly landing gracefully, paws to the earth.
|

The Captain
and Commander of all the household toys!
|
|

"Captain"
and "Nickolaus" He even holds sway over the tenacious
terriers of Yorkshire, Nickolaus and Julia, that occupy the "big" house!
|

Captain is
such a joy to have around. He has a soaring personality and a spirit that is lilting to say the least. He is exuberant
and eager to please in everything he does. He has a courageousness about his character that is comforting and always
reminds me so much of his father and grandfather. Awesome wants to work here, but still seems to be lacking when it
comes to describing him.

Captain
loves the water... LOVES the water. He tries to climb into his waterdish on a daily basis and has a love affair with
the hose whenever I am watering anything in the yard. Here he comes bounding across the grass, mouth agape... he
bites at the water when it's coming out and then spins his whole body around and around in the chilly spray. He leaps
up into the arching droplets and seems to revel in the feel of it's coolness regardless of the time of year. He is quite
the water ballerina and I cannot help but laugh time after time as he follows me all around trying to get me to squirt him.

One of my favorite things about our dogs is that they are energetic in varying degrees when it's appropriate.
60 to zero in a handful of seconds, they play when it's time to play and they chill when it's quitin' time. I like
to see them sleeping sweetly at my feet while I read or watch a movie...when it's time to rest, they are willing candidates
for a nice little nap.
