The
"Puppyhouse" in the Fall... Behind the
Privacy fence, the dogs have the free run of a half acre area that is set aside solely for them to run and play. I love
looking out my kitchen window and seeing them engaging one another in tug of war, or snuggled together in little groups soaking
in the sunshine of a warm day together. We
enjoy regular outings with them in small groups, or individually... they join us canoeing down the Chestatee, taking summer
dips in Lake Lanier, camping, accompanying us on trail rides with the horses, or just meandering together down a mountain
pathway... they love to be included in all the parts of our life that are special to us and are such wonderful companions...
we take them whenever, and wherever we can. The
puppyhouse is heated in the winter, and cooled in the summer. The cement slabbed kennel runs are used occassionally
to separate females during breeding. Everyone is brought in and crated at night and any time there is inclement weather.
Lounging in the "big" house is also enjoyed at times, and laying by the fire place is always a real favorite. We are constantly looking for ways to improve our lines, and
our kennels. Making their lives more comfortable means so much to us... they are our family. We love them
all dearly.
